Synopsis:
Bimal Das (Soumitra Chattopadhyay) is the patrarch of the family, which consists of his two sons Nirmal (Sabyasachi) and Shyamal (Parambrata) and daughter in law Anita (Nirmal's wife, Rituparna). All of them together with a family friend Brojen (Dipankar Dey) and Anita's young sister Sunita (Raima Sen) gather at Bimal's house in Darjeeling. It is a happy gathering with everyone playing his role and Anita busy with her kitchen and throwing Sunita and Shyamal together. Then one night, there is a masiive downpour followed by an earthquake which snaps the links with the rest of the town. The Group is left with just a few day's ration and must conserve everything in order to survive. As things become critical, the negative side of each character starts to emerge and carefully built-up facades start to crumble. When things reach a breaking point, help arrives, perhaps at the nick of time.
